DUUH Hickey is a resident of a subtly-disclosed location in the Upper-Middle-Western section of the United States. Spawned from a concoction of river water, insomnia, sugared cereal, and pencil lead digital vectors, DUUH creates hand-wrought images and type in a small, poorly-lit room and posts them to the internet using a homemade, hand-cranked 300 baud modem held together with masking tape. DUUH works diligently and frenetically, but he must often must keep his creative genius in check to avoid international incidents.
Hickey thinks writing about ones self in the third-person is kind of creepy, which is why he asked me to do it. He is also a pathological liar, and there is a rumor going around that he may be someone’s imaginary friend. The rumor’s origins are well-known, and may be closer than you think.
DUUH is available for commissions and freelance work, and he would like you to hire him right now. Mr. Hickey is excited you have come to see what he is up to, though he feels he expresses himself better in pictures than in words (even when the picture is made of words), so please stop reading and start looking.
Here’s the short of it: DUUH hand-makes custom illustrations and typography, just for you. Go ahead: hire DUUH for your next project.
