For Illustration Friday: 100%.
awww — sad, but at least the polar bear should be a good swimmer :)

Unbearable truth. But a wonderful illustration. Love your style!

Great illustration, nice site design too! Good stuff!

Al Gore would love you. This is simple and beautiful!

Your blog is awesome. I was looking for your portfolio and couldn’t find it. Do you have one that shows more of your past work? Congratulations on the win this week!

Wow! Thanks to all of you for the kudos, and thanks to Illustration Friday for naming poor Gertrude up there “Pick of the Week.” I’m honored and humbled.
@Kim: so far, the blog is my portfolio. I’m doing my best to add to it every day.
Cheers!

Wonderful! Congrats on being the pick of the week too!

This is 100% sad, but I am very happy you posted this, it’s a very important issue. Congrats!

Lucky for polar bears, they are good swimmers, and this one might just be enjoying a ride on an ice float. Lucky for him, too, he’s not really a polar bear :^D — he’s a 100% great illustration and your style is 100% inspiration.

Congrats on being the pic of the week - this is great! You should enter it in the Picture Extinction t-shirt contest over at http://www.artevist.com/index.php/contests

No wonder the poor critter looks worried… Did you know that killer whales eat polar bears?
Your blog design probably deserves some kind of reward.

Soon the iceberg has melted away. The polarbear ad to swim. Very actual image!!
